Duncan Peak

Passionate yogi, soul surfer and spiritual warrior. Duncan has pioneered the development of modern yoga in Australia. Creator of Power Living, co-creator of YOGAHOLICS and author of the popular book, Modern Yoga. Dunx wants to inspire you to live life to the fullest.

Emee Dillon

Before she found Power Living, Emee spent a decade as a professional dancer with the Sydney Dance Company and Australian Dance Theatre, doing yoga asana as complementary training. With extensive training in both Yin and Yang styles, Emee believes that every opportunity on her mat is a space where she learns something new about her body and her mind!

Troy Abraham

Troy’s teaching style is powerful, and he empowers his students to use yoga as a tool to discover the most connected version of themselves. Initially, Troy came to yoga to complement surfing and snowboarding, and his commitment is to guide the practice in a way that adds to incredible life experiences, rather than just a strong yoga practice. He teaches with a strong emphasis on breath and total immersion.

Shauna Hawkes

Shauna’s teaching is authentic and active, aiming to balance the mind, body and spirit in each practice. Shauna comes from a background in Social Work.  She worked as a senior counsellor in a group home for drug and alcohol addicted teenagers, a caseworker at a male maximum security prison and as a counsellor for women with unplanned pregnancy. Doing this work, Shauna has developed a compassionate understanding of people, which has impacted her teaching in positive ways.

Truth Robinson

Truth has been living and breathing Yoga since he discovered it in 2001, always ensuring to live it off the mat as well as the practice on the mat. Truth’s journey began with Ashtanga (Patabhi Jois, India) in Brighton & Edinburgh, UK. Then over the next several years spent significant time studying Agama Tantric Yoga (Thailand), Sivananda Yoga (India), Iyengar Yoga (India) until finally settling in Satyananda Yoga of the Bihar School of Yoga, the world’s first Yoga University based in Munger, India. A few years of teaching yoga inspired a shift to the healing arts and he completed a degree to become a Doctor of  Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2014. Since graduating, Truth has become a registered and practicing Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. Truth’s culmination of educations has brought him to become a passionate yin yoga teacher. 

Gina Brescianini

Gina started practising Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan in 2001, perfect for supporting her busy ballet life. She was practicing, learning and studying at every spare moment, completing her teacher training in New Mexico in 2010. She is a Pilates instructor and has had her own business, Radiant Awakening Kundalini and Pilates Center in Neutral Bay and Mosman, Sydney from 2010-2013. During that time Gina found Power Living Yoga and completely fell in love with the practice and the community. The Power Living style was the perfect practice to bridge the gap she had been looking for.

Jordan Berger

American soul, Aussie tan, Californian smile… That’s Jordan! He moved to Australia in 2012 for a three-month contract to open a cocktail bar for the Merivale Group, and 6 years later he’s still here and teaching YOGA! Jordan got serious about Yoga when he moved to Los Angeles in 2009 and found teachers like Bryan Kest, Travis Elliott and Elise Joan. It was in these classes that he started to connect the dots between physical asana, energetic pathways and emotional aspects of the practice. Gordo (as he is referred to by the team) found Power Living when first arriving in Sydney in 2012. Immediately drawn to the robust, physical Asana, and the philosophical undertones to the classes, Jordan became more and more interested in what Yoga could offer his life on and off the mat.

Eliza Giles

Eliza has spent over a decade studying with modern and traditional masters across the globe. As a young teenager, she was introduced to yoga, and at 17 she moved to India to be immersed in the sacred traditions and eastern teachings still alive within the culture there. At 20 she began her training in the traditional sciences of the yoga systems, moving to live and study in the Omkaranada Ashram in Northern India where she completing her first training in Meditation, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. Eliza’s classes hold space to experience the weaving of these ancient traditions, philosophies and methodologies with functional anatomy, mindful movement and understanding of the western sciences to access the physical and energetic systems of the body.

Marty Coles

Marty Coles has been coaching sport and involved in health and fitness for over 15 years. After years of soccer, his dodgy knee brought him to yoga, and what started as a rehab/stretch, became an integral part of his life physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Marty’s path is a spiritual one and his practice centres around how to find a deeper connection through the ancient wisdom of yoga. Marty offers a strong physical practice while delivering a powerful message, with plenty of fun. He values enthusiasm, compassion and authenticity. His aim is to inspire students to leave their mats after class and continue the practice in their daily lives.

Lisa Clark

Lisa, a Canadian-born, natural athlete, retired from her 12 year National Team Synchronised Swimming career and fell in love with yoga. In search of a means to heal her body and mind, she trained as a Fitness Instructor only to discover she desired a softer approach to physical balance. Lisa is a Baptiste Certified Yoga Instructor, an intuitive Master Reiki practitioner and a very average surfer. She trained extensively with Baron Baptiste and went on to assist many of his programs and trainings.

Duncan Parviainen

Duncan began practising Ashtanga yoga when he was 16 years old and has been teaching Vinyasa yoga in Canada since 2007. He attended the University of Guelph for Biomedical Sciences and later transferred to Ryerson University in Toronto to pursue his love of dance in their competitive BFA Performance Dance program. With a mind for science and a passion for movement, Duncan teaches intelligent and alignment based vinyasa classes that are sequenced with mindful creativity. He has facilitated several 200hr and 500hr Vinyasa YTT courses and runs retreats and intensives internationally. He continues to train and practice under his teacher Annie Carpenter, creator of SmartFlow Yoga.

Tobie Morris

Tobie’s joy in teaching yoga is infectious, her style described as unfailingly chilled and she is known for taking her students with her on a journey that lightens the heart as much as it strengthens the body. After completing her first yoga teacher training in 2009, Tobie was hooked and continued her studies with Power Living – evolving into the joyous teacher she is today.

Keenan Crisp

Our resident traditional yogi who has travelled the world studying yoga under many of the world’s most regarded teachers and Swamis. Keenan fuses a technical and traditional background with warmth and love in every class he teaches, delivering a unique, nurturing and memorable experience each time.

Emma Burridge

A self-confessed anatomy nerd, Emma’s passion in the inner workings of the human body, drives her teaching. A qualified acupuncturist, 500hr yoga and clinical Pilates instructor, Emma’s classes balance out mobility with stability and yin with yang energies. Her classes are energetic, fun-loving and playfully creative, designed to get you back out of your head and into your body.

Solon Ulbrich

Coming from a background in the dance industry as a performer, choreographer, teacher and director, Sol has over 20 years teaching and mentoring experience in Contemporary Dance and Yoga. Sol’s practice scopes Ashtanga, Hatha, Shadow and Vinyasa yoga style with training completed around the world. Let Sol take you through a joyful and intense class, rich in visualisation and imagery.

Cassie Lee

Cassie has studied Anusara Yoga with John Friend (Anusara Founder, USA) and Patrick Creelman and has taught yoga for more than 10 years. Her style is influenced by all her teachers, including Sarah Powers, Doug Keller, Shiva Rae, Baron Baptiste, Desiree Rumbaugh, Amy Ippoliti, Ross Rayburn, Briohny Smyth & Dice Iida-Klein. Cassie is known as a fun and energetic teacher, with a particular focus on asana technique, as well as for her progressive and creative sequencing.

Adam Whiting

A voracious student of yogic theory and practice, Adam has studied and practised with Rod Stryker, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Tiffany Cruikshank, Dice Iida-Klein, Briohny Smyth and Baron Baptiste. His teaching style artfully blends anatomical precision with powerful, energetic emotion and yogic tradition. Adam is also partial to breaking down and inverting the flow with a focus on advanced arm balances and inversions.
